Oyster Bay Resort, St. Maarten Island, Netherlands, Antilles, West Indies
While this map is not very clear, you
should be able to make out the tip of
the Florida panhandle, the big island
of Cuba and then the San Juan
Islands as they dwindle off the
northern coast of Venezuela. St.
Maarten is one of the smallest of
these islands, opposite St. Barths and
Anquilla. Known for the whitest sand
beaches in the world.
The resort is on a penisula creating Oyster Bay. The dark spots in the water are
some of the best snorkeling reefs on the island.
The only silhouette of a person you can see in this picture, just past the pool, is
my wife on the first floor balcony to the condo.
Another angle of the resort.
View of the resort from the balcony. The gourmet, luxury dining room is where the
umbrellas are open. Seating is available inside and out.
Another view from the balcony looking out at St. Barths Island, a great day trip!
Negative edge swimming pool and huge hot tub is just outside the door.
There are two bedrooms plus the living room/dining room, shown here, has a
pull out sofa sleeper. There is a full kitchen and balconies off both bed rooms.
